The Rainbow Cabana is a 1940's newly remodeled cabana home located just 5 blocks from the seawall.There you will find dining,shopping, bike rentals and the beaches.About 7 blocks to the north you will find downtown Galveston and the historic Strand area.

Close by Shopping and Dining -

We are convienently located to Seawall Blvd, just a short 5 block walk or drive. There you will find dining of all varities including fast food and more formal dining.

These include : Millers Landing, Salt Grass Steak House, Benno's Cajun food,Hooters, McDonalds and Wendy's. Others a little farther from the house include Fish Tales,Mario's, DeBella's,Salsa's,Golden Corral,Luby's and many others on 61st street.

There are gift shops and bike rental locations on the seawall as well.

To the north of the house you will find Broadway Blvd. There you will find some of the cities oldest homes that can be toured.

Further north you will find the historical Strand Area of town.Here you will find shops and dining.

Fine dining includes: Rudy and Paco's, and Saltwater. Other dining includes Landry's and Willie G's seafood.

In the Strand area you will also find the Grand Opera house. And many shops including souveniers, antiques and clothing.The port is also located in the Strand area.
